Build a Drupal Theme

Like the layout of the New York Times? Respond positively to a blog’s color scheme? Change user experience and interaction with your online presence by changing the look, feel, and functionality of your site. In this 2-hour hands-on workshop Buckeye Interactive’s experienced developers will teach you how to create a Drupal Theme.

Requirements to attend this workshop:

• Intermediate to Advanced HTML and CSS experience is required
• Basic Photoshop experience is required
• Basic PHP experience is helpful but not required

Please bring with you to the workshop:

• A Photoshop PSD file with your design (or equivalent digital mock-up)
• A computer with Photoshop or GIMP installed
• Domain Registrar, FTP and Drupal Administrator usernames and passwords for your Drupal site, or select a different option below

Hosting options:

1. Bring FTP and Drupal Administrator username and password to the workshop
2. We will register your domain name and set up a new Drupal site for you for an additional $150 includes*

• One year of domain registration and hosting

1. You may purchase your own domain name hosting account through Name.com, DreamHost, MediaTemple, ICDSoft or another hosting company
2. We can create a temporary site (deleted post-workshop) you can practice on*
