Buckeye Interactive Helps Employ Moms Everywhere with New Start-up Company

NEW ALBANY, Ohio (April 11, 2011) — Buckeye Interactive teamed up with designer Rhaya Shilts of Jackson Sky and two creative moms from Indianapolis, IN to develop a new casual, employment community for stay-at-home and working moms.  GetOutMom.com taps into the tremendous talents of women, many of whom are stay-at-home moms, who don’t want to put a resume together, have a rigid schedule, and would prefer to work around their family schedules.

“Brick by brick, Buckeye Interactive has been a key member of our team. Not only in building the site, but also by translating our ideas into key functionality and offering critical key input when needed,” said Cami Back, Co-Founder of GetOutMom.com. “If you’re looking for a team who can take your idea and create something better than you ever dreamed it could be, then Buckeye Interactive is the company to hire.”

The site is built on a high-performance, scalable platform with the expectation of rapid growth.  The site’s Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture has given us the ability to maintain a well-organized code base while adding exciting features. Our team implemented proximity-based searching by zip code, geolocation of user IP addresses, social media sharing integration and custom full-text indexing with filtering options for a great search experience.
“The moms at GetOutMom.com are a dynamic team with great potential,” said Brad Griffith, President of Buckeye Interactive. “We look forward to taking the site national–and eventually global–with the team at GetOutMom.com.”
