Accelerate Featured Client Blog — Ju’Ellz Designz Hair Care

Columbus, OH – J. Julye Brown-Spencer, founder of Ju’Ellz Designz Hair Care, had an idea. She was passionate about helping women, men and children in the Columbus area, and she wanted to reach them through her passion for hair care, Brown-Spencer said.

As a local small-business owner, Brown-Spencer started Ju’Ellz Designz with a mission of empowering individuals with the knowledge, tools, and customized solutions to build confidence through healthy hair habits. She was excited to share her extensive expertise in hair-care products and education were within the Columbus area, but she said that something was holding her back.

While she was excited to connect with her community, Brown-Spencer said she wasn’t reaching her intended audience with her business and online presence. That’s when she discovered the our Website Acceleration Workshop through Accelerate Columbus.

After working through our program, her skill set now allows her to reach her community more effectively, Brown-Spencer said.

“The Website Acceleration Workshop helped me better understand how to create a stronger online presence, improve the customer experience on my website, and position my business for future growth,” Brown-Spencer said. “It provided valuable insight into website functionality, customer engagement, and strategies that help small businesses connect more effectively with their target audience online.”

As a Website Accelerate Workshop graduate, Brown-Spencer said that this education has allowed her to support and expand her small business in major ways.

“One of the biggest outcomes from both the Website Acceleration Workshop and the Accelerator programs was not just learning new strategies, but implementing them,” Brown-Spencer said. “Since completing the programs, I have built a financial hub for my business, strengthened my business planning, and begun applying many of the systems and strategies discussed throughout the coursework.”
