Buckeye Interactive Completes Week-Long Website Re-platform to Allow Product Deal on LivingSocial

NEW ALBANY, Ohio (August 9, 2013) – The Grablet, a neighbor of Buckeye Interactive at Innovate New Albany, recently re-platformed their existing e-commerce solution in order to prepare for increased traffic with a Living Social deal and increase the scalability of the site for future product lines.

“The Grablet is excited to expand into new markets with a brand new shopping platform,” said Zac Mckenzie, Co-Founder of The Grablet. “The team at Buckeye Interactive has built a brand new shopping cart for The Grablet using WordPress and WooCommerce. Not only does this allow us to have total freedom with our shopping experience, but it allows us to now collect all the valuable data that was being lost using third party add-ons. We at The Grablet look forward to growing our business with Team Buckeye at our side.”

Buckeye Interactive moved the Grablet shopping cart from a proprietary platform to a WordPress-based e-commerce system to reduce ongoing expenses and to increase flexibility and stability. The Grablet team is now in control of more aspects of their website with fewer dependencies on outside vendors. The new platform also increased performance in preparation for being featured on LivingSocial from August 5-12. Buckeye plans to continue working with Grablet over the coming weeks to increase traffic, e-commerce conversion rates, and average purchase amount.
