Buckeye Interactive launches new website and fundraising efforts for Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation’s Great Libraries Create campaign

NEW ALBANY, Ohio (November 17, 2014) – After being chosen as a new digital partner for the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation’s (CMLF) Great Libraries Create campaign, Buckeye Interactive is excited to announce the launch of the campaign and its innovative corresponding website.

The website launched Friday, November 7th, at the annual CMLF Celebration of Learning and so far the library has accumulated 75% of its fundraising goal. The goal of the campaign is to raise funds to rebuild or renovate the Main Library, seven urban branches, and two suburban branches of Columbus Metropolitan Library to meet the growing needs of the community.

Key elements of the new website include custom, responsive Drupal development and design and an integration with Raiser’s Edge, a cloud-based fundraising management tool. A personalized, two-hour Drupal training session along with documentation will also be provided to ensure proper in-house site control.

“The Buckeye Interactive team listened, absorbed what we were trying to do and executed a fully redesigned website with a very aggressive schedule and tight turnaround time”, Debra Pack, Marketing Manager at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, said. “They were responsive, brought thoughtful and creative ideas to the process plus met every deadline. They have been fabulous to work with on this project and I look forward to continuing to work with them on subsequent phases. I have no doubt the experience will be just as exceptional.”

With the expertise of Peeble’s Creative Group, a full-service marketing firm located in Dublin, a public peer-to-peer fundraising campaign and matching microsite will launch in April 2015.
