A New Albany technology business is expanding rapidly, and its owner credits the local business incubator, Inc@8000, with helping it along.

Brad Griffith founded Buckeye Interactive in 2009. He said he started the business in his home and then moved into the city’s first business incubator site 6530 W. Campus Oval. Buckeye Interactive now is at Inc@8000 on Walton Parkway and has seven team members.

Griffith said Buckeye Interactive specializes in website development, social media and web strategies for the digital market.

He said Buckeye Interactive has taken advantage of opportunities at the incubator.

“Our business has really grown,” he said.

Since moving to Inc@8000, Griffith said, Buckeye Interactive has held training sessions and workshops. He said he is enjoying interacting and working with the 27 other small businesses in the Walton Parkway building, which is owned by the New Albany Co.

One of Griffith’s most recent projects was updating the New Albany Chamber of Commerce’s website, which launched Aug. 31.
