Buckeye Interactive Wants to Send You to Startup Weekend Columbus

What could you do with 54 hours and a room full of smart, passionate people? Could you build and launch a startup business? If you think know you could, Buckeye Interactive wants to send you to Startup Weekend Columbus as a part of the Buckeye Interactive Scholars Program.

Startup Weekends are held around the globe, bringing together startup enthusiasts from across disciplines to combine their talents and expertise. The result? Sometimes, it sparks the launch of a new business venture. Even more frequently, though, you’ll get to learn new skills and build long-lasting relationships.

Buckeye Interactive Scholars will attend Startup Weekend as regular participants, and are free to join any team of their choosing. What’s the catch? Nothing really – we just want to make sure bright and talented people have a way to stay connected with the Columbus entrepreneurial community.

We’re seeking passionate developers and designers, although tech enthusiasts with business or marketing skills are also encouraged to apply – only about half of Startup Weekend attendees have technical backgrounds. We’ll pay for up to 10 qualified applicants to attend Startup Weekend Columbus, where you’ll join a team to help bring an idea to life.

Highly qualified applicants will have formal education or work experience in a related area, although extensive experience in volunteer, hobby, or freelance work may also be considered. Startup Weekend Columbus will be held November 9-11 at CCAD. We will be accepting applications through October 19, with winners announced by October 26. Apply now!
