Plain Township trustees agreed Feb. 1 to pay Buckeye Interactive $4,500 to “develop a new township website and transfer existing content.”

Township administrator Ben Collins said the township’s website, plaintownship.org, is outdated and is not compatible with some of the newer search engines.

Buckeye Interactive got its start in the New Albany business incubator, Inc@8000. The company developed websites for the city of New Albany and the New Albany-Plain Local School District.
